Tokyo Sky Tree: a Definitive Guide (part 3) – The Rising Presence

As the Tokyo Sky Tree tower has grown, so too has interest in following its development become increasingly intense.

Perhaps one point at which people’s interest is sparked is the moment they first see the edifice rising above other buildings in their everyday view.

Of course the places from which the tower is visible are widening further and further from the construction site as time goes by.

Fascinating documentation of this can be seen via a great site I recently found. On it one can navigate a Google map and view images taken of Sky Tree from locations spread far and wide across the region. It serves as a great visual archive.

Click here or on the map below to view the site.

The site also provides a brilliant Q & A resource (click here to view) , only in Japanese but the English translation is still vaguely comprehensible.
