An excellent design system in place at Narita Airport International Terminal: instead of having to remember the number of the floor you were parked on, simply remember an animal!

The characters are emblazoned across the lift doors, an unforgettable experience when heading towards the terminal building. A convenient floor listing will jog your memory instantly in case for some reason you don’t recall your beast.
As yet unverified is whether this is somehow related to the fact that Pet Inn Royal (the only pet hotel inside the Narita International Terminal complex) is located in the basement of this car park.
The hotel proudly announces:
“We can stay. Dog, cat, rabbit, ferret, and hamster”, and the privilege of housing 3 of your loved creatures in one of their suites for a single night will set you back a cool 500 US dollars.
I just love this idea. I’m never going to remember “Orange” or level 6, but the penguin level?!? Lead me there
