Compact Living

Greater Tokyo is the world’s most populated urban area, and therefore space is not plentiful. One of the coolest things about Japanese architecture is their incredible use of the limited space available. Designers and architects both come up with incredible ways of fitting a lot into a little.

Interior design will feature in some upcoming posts, but today an example of the way any available space can be creatively utilized. In other cities there would simply be a fence between the railway lines and the road, but in Tokyo – a building! These small apartments look adorable, and no doubt inside are filled with space-saving design ideas.
