The Quick Fix
The meticulous nature of Japanese service: within minutes of a small intermittent drip of water appearing from the ceiling at a Tokyo Metro station, the tiny puddle was mopped up and this compact and effective temporary solution was improvised by station staff. Within a couple of hours a full and proper repair had been made.

Ingenious, lol!!!
Isn’t it? The thing that most struck me is the fact that they went to the effort of rigging this up, only to replace it so quickly afterwards. And all for what was a relatively small problem which would probably be ignored elsewhere.
